Sunday Funday (formerly known as PPD 2016)

chia-pet-costume

Even though we had to cancel the street fair because of the rain, ACC kept calm and carried on inside the shelter, bringing pet pride inside after a storm blew in.

More than 30 photos were taken at the holiday photo booth, and 9 free microchips and 13 rabies vaccines were given.

Educational exhibits/games, pumpkin and face decorating, and an amazing bake sale, supplied by ACC volunteers and local companies, kept spirits high.

Over the course of the afternoon, 24 animals were adopted (16 cats/kittens, 7 dogs, and 1 rabbit who had been at the shelter since April).

All funds raised go to programs and materials that enrich the lives of ACC’s animals.

To our sponsors and vendors, thank YOU and take heart, you are already on the list for next year (in a drier month).
