With the help of your sponsorship and in-kind donations, SFACC can continue to provide special medical treatment, volunteer training, microchip clinics, and other programs that are beyond the scope of the city budget for S.F.’s only open-admission municipal shelter. 100% of every sponsorship and donation goes toward helping the animals in SFACC’s care.
PPD booth registration has closed for 2017. You can still donate to Friends of SFACC to raise funds for critical programs at the shelter.

Join San Francisco Animal Care & Control in celebrating all the animals and people that make our city the most humane city in the United States. As San Francisco’s only open-admission shelter, SFACC is responsible for the care of every animal that comes through its doors no matter what species, health, medical or behavioral condition of the animal, including wildlife. Each year, SFACC cares for over 7,000 animals. The success of SFACC is due to its dedicated staff, volunteers, and adoption partners who work to ensure the protection and safety of the animals and people in our community. Whether you’ve lost a pet, found an animal, or want to adopt a best friend, SFACC is the place to go. For complete information on the many services that the shelter provides, visit SFACC.
Find out how you can join this organization of volunteers devoted to supporting the shelter’s much-needed programs of animal care, quality of life, rescue placement, and education. Friends of SFACC, Animal Care & Control, and PetLink, will offer a free microchip and low-cost rabies clinic at Pet Pride Day (microchips are free for licensed San Francisco dogs, $20 for those outside of San Francisco). Dog licenses will also be sold on-site. Rabies vaccinations are $10 and are required for the license. Make sure to take your pet to the Friends sponsored photo booth. All proceeds from the clinic and photo booth benefit ACC animals and programs.
