Isis’ life changed when she adopted her first dog, Paka, a Lab mix from the East Bay SPCA. He sparked a deep love for animals and a desire to help improve their lives. She later realized that passion runs in the family. Her sister is a veterinarian, and her father has also rescued and adopted dogs throughout the years.
Although Paka passed away in 2024, Isis continues to channel that love into causes she deeply believes in. She has volunteered with Muttville Senior Dog Rescue since 2018, where what started as a small contribution quickly grew into a true passion. Over the years, she has supported many areas of the rescue, from cleaning and dog walking to intake support and photographing newly arrived dogs for their adoption profiles.
More recently, Isis officially became one of Muttville’s intake volunteer photographers, combining her love for photography and dogs. Her favorite part is capturing each dog’s unique personality to help them find their forever home.Outside of volunteer work, Isis supports global distributor marketing operations at Allbirds and has spent several years in client-facing and cross-functional roles within the ad tech industry, including at Oracle Advertising, where she managed strategic partnerships.

Her desire to help more animals motivated her to join the Board of Friends of SFACC, where she hopes to contribute to the organization’s fundraising efforts and support the incredible work being done at the shelter.
