Free* Microchip & Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic @ACC

Free* Microchip & Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic @ACC

WHAT

Microchip ID and collar tags are the most effective ways to identify your dog or cat if they are ever lost. Friends of SFACC and SF Veterinary Medical Association, SFVMA, sponsor low-cost rabies and free* microchip clinics at the shelter on a quarterly basis.

Clinic services are administered on a first come, first served basis. The number of dogs ACC can vaccinate depends on the number of veterinarians we have on clinic day. The line-up is in front of the shelter and can be a 30-40 minute wait, so please plan accordingly. We will do our best to serve everyone, but cannot guarantee that everyone will be seen. All Cats (microchips only) must be in carriers and all dogs must be on leash.

*Microchips are free for dogs licensed in San Francisco, free for cat guardians with a San Francisco residence, $20 for those who live outside of SF. Dog licenses (fees vary) can also be purchased at the clinic and require a current rabies vaccination. Rabies vaccines are $6 (dogs only). Get them both the same day!
