Over the holiday season, Friends of SFACC partnered with Stone Pier Press, an environmental press that publishes children’s books encouraging compassion for animals. SPP donated 25% of sales for those of you who designated FSFACC when purchasing Gwen the Rescue Hen and Sprig the Rescue Pig. Thank you Clare Ellis and those of you who bought 36 copies!
Yappy Hour Fun(d)raiser at Black Hammer Brewing – Nov. 11
Midterm elections got you beat? Take a break and have a pint!
Join us at Black Hammer Brewing for a Sunday afternoon Yappy Hour. Hang out with friends (or your furry BFF), sample tasty brews, and raise funds for critical programs for SF animals at the City’s open-admission shelter. Raffle prizes, dogs, and small-production brews & tasting flights poured at Black Hammer’s lofty, modern warehouse space with free Wi-Fi.
Pups are always welcome but this party is on leash so pups who are joining should be chill with sitting with their human while they enjoy their beer.
Donating $5 at the door gets you happy hour prices! All donations go to the Friends of SFACC.

We’re having a fundraiser at local dog-friendly bar, Triple Voodoo Brewery. All of their beers are brewed onsite in Dogpatch. How appropriate! Bring your pooch or just relax and enjoy other people’s dogs. Triple Voodoo will donate 10% of bar sales during the event. Woof and thank you!
