Clear the Shelters August 18 & 19
Seventy animals found forever homes at Clear the Shelters on Aug. 18 & 19. Special woofs and purrs to the staff and volunteers who helped the event go smoothly. Thank you to the Bay Area community for opting to adopt and coming to SFACC for their new furry family member.
Doc’s Clock Yappy Hour
WHAT: Doc’s Clock Yappy Hour Fundraiser for FSFACC

Doc’s Clock is a Mission neighborhood institution. Owners Carry and Lisa (and their rescue dog Rudi) like to spotlight a different rescue every month for a Happy Hour fundraiser and June was our turn. Well mannered pooches and their guardians convened for a lovely warm afternoon-to-evening happy hour. During the event, 50% of the bar and 100% of event-special drinks plus Doc’s raffle were donated to the Friends of S.F. Animal Care & Control and raised $1314. Thank you Doc’s. We love you!
Black Hammer/BARK Beer Bust
WHAT: Happy hour fundraiser for SFACC
WHEN: May 30, 2018
WHERE: Black Hammer Brewery, 544 Bryant St., SF
On May 30, people & pooches sipped craft beer and toasted dogs and the good work of SFACC. This fun(d)-raising event hosted by Black Hammer Brewery (544 Bryant St.) and BARK. Some good sniffs and mingles were had by all and pups got a free BARK toy to take home and destroy. Proceeds benefited Friends of SFACC. Thank you ACC Volunteer Pauline Le for organizing this fun event, and big WOOFS to Black Hammer and BARK!!
