University of the Pacific Giving Tree

In their third year of raising funds for Friends of SFACC, Kimmel Kington and her team (Group 2D at the Univ. of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry) decided to go for the glitter. The school holds a “Giving Tree Holiday Drive” in December for different nonprofit organizations to advocate and fundraise for their cause. “We had two days of paper ornament making for the staff, and as you can see in the photos, lots of people had lots of fun! It was so relaxing to go back to grade school days with glue and glitter!”
They advocated for adoption by printing full-size photos of adoptable animals from the SFACC website and hanging them around their table. Kimmel and her team raised $665.84 for SFACC this year. “We had some competition from several student fund raising drives but we also got some toys, treats, towels, and at least one person went to your online wish list.” Yay!
