Leah Wilberding (she/her) joined Season of Sharing Fund in September 2022 to deepen their engagement with funders and guide client storytelling. For more than fifteen years, she has worked in the Bay Area public sector as a fundraiser and philanthropic advisor for local families and regional nonprofits where she focused on crafting stories, writing grant proposals and developing partnerships that translated into sustaining support.  Leah received a BA in Creative Writing from UC San Diego and MPA from San Francisco State University. She learned about SFACC’s vital role and services while working at San Francisco SPCA and other nonprofits focused on animal welfare. Leah and her husband live in San Francisco with their rescue dog, Dottie, and two young children.
