Lemon & Lime, our longest term bunnies, were adopted after patiently waiting together since early July for their forever home. Hoppy tails!
Adoption update: “I adopted my scruffimuffin Colby on Dec 4 2018 (formerly Chester). He was picked up running around Golden Gate park over Thanksgiving [before I adopted him]. He’s still doing well. His DNA test said he’s Poodle/Cattle Dog/Jack Russell. He’s so smart and the best adventure and cuddle buddy.”

Chungus (now Bruce) has gone home with his big new family including Frenchie sibling.
Sweet scruffimuffin pup Crackerjack has been adopted! His new family is changing his name to Jack: short & sweet. Jack enjoying Christmas Eve. A match made in heaven. “Thank you guys so much for bringing my family so much joy”

Nice boy Kangaroo has gone home! His adopters met him last month before going on vacation and he was waiting for them when they came back.
Friendly parakeet Camilla has been adopted. It was her adopter’s birthday: a birthday bird!

Big boy Arlo left the shelter with his new family & brother Raven just in time for Hanukah.

Beautiful bonded pair Taro & Mochi were adopted together.
Adoption update! Bulldog boy Bruce (formerly known as Chungus) has been in his forever home for only a few days, but has already shown his football allegiance. Go 49ers!

Adoption update: “After much discussion Ernie’s official and final new name is Cosmo! He is doing well and is learning lots. He enjoys sweaters, chew toys, and cuddles! He has been practicing some training and is getting very good at sit, stay, and leave it. We absolutely love our little buddy and are so happy he is with us.”
Senior charmer Cathy update: “I love her so much already! Thank you for everything today, it’s an honor to have been able to adopt her. She is so at home already!”

Let’s finish up the year with a fantastic update! When senior tuxie Bruce arrived at our earlier shelter this year, he wasn’t in good shape: He was very thin, his coat was patchy and he had sores and his teeth were terrible. None of that dimmed his fabulous personality. After he had time to gain weight, get a dental, and feel better, Bruce was available for adoption. He was adopted in just a couple of days! An update: “Hello, Bruce’s adopter here, Sorry I took so long to post an update, but I’m happy to report that Bruce is doing wonderfully.
He got comfortable quickly in his new home, and is super happy and affectionate. His favorite thing to do it to sit on people any way he can, laps, arms, face, he just loves cuddling up and sleeping on top of someone. He also adores being petted for hours at a time, he won’t let you stop.
The little guy goes crazy for food, and will devour anything edible. His missing teeth don’t seem to bother him at all. His fur is growing back nicely, and his sores have healed up too. I’m honored to have him with me, he’s a real treasure.”
