After waiting for two months, big-eared puppy boy Arlo has gone home!

Adoption update! Recently Babe (now Maggie) was adopted. She’s loving snuggling and hanging out with her new family.

Volunteer Mona, adopted her new canine companion Bizzi. She will be living with two feline friends.

Adoption update for Chuco (formerly known as Duke Silver). This velvety hunk has settled right into his forever home and is snuggling away.

Orange tabby gem Fritz (now Felix) was recently adopted by one of our cat volunteers. He was shy and scared when he arrived at the shelter, but came out of his shell with the help of visits by our volunteers. “My partner and I adopted Felix last week, and thanks to volunteers’ amazing work with him, he adjusted so quickly and is thriving in his new home! He’s curious, cuddly, playful, I’m so lucky to have him in my life.

Adoption update: Chatty beauty Eloise was adopted in March by one of our volunteers. She’s “so happy in her new home and ready for fall.”

Winn Dixie was adopted by an SFACC dog volunteer. Congrats!

Bobcat lookalike Bruno was adopted! He’s going home to join a kitten who was adopted from us a couple of months ago.

Spunky cutie Fuzz Lightyear went home with his new mom.

Adoption update! “Lady Pickles, formerly “Kennedy” [adopted earlier this year] can always find a sliver of sunshine. She is a joy. She has lost about 3 pounds on her Rawr diet. She is getting arthritis treatments and is much improved.”

Laura was adopted this weekend and we already have an update: “Queen Skye, previously known as Laura, is thriving! She’s incredibly affectionate, always seeking snuggles and cuddles. Her playful spirit never lets her be alone for long, and she shows her love with head butts and kisses—so much affection! My wife adores her, and we’re overjoyed to have this fluffy bundle of joy in our home.”

Sweet Dove has gone home with her new family, including new sister Cora, who was adopted from us in October of last year. Check out their matching smiles and upright right ears!

Bonded guinea pig pair Ramen & Waffles have been adopted together!

Little miss Lemonade went to our rescue partner Pack Lyfe Rescue and was adopted. Looks like a great new life: she’s even gone paddle-boarding!

Adoption update! “Here is Enzo (named chowder when adopted in January), he is such a playful, energetic, and full of love puppy! He is now almost 10 months. He is the most social and friendly puppy and he loves being outside, camping ( he loves sleeping in his own tent!), fetch and he is in LOVE with balls hahaha. He is our little baby boy!

Miss Ellie is already living her best life with her new guardians. Lots of snoozes to catch up on — she fell asleep in her new bed before they could even take the tags off!

Sweet little pup Lisa has a family that totally adores her and she will be living near her brother Bart! Her new name is Ruby.

Woohoo! Calico beauty Anna has gone home.

Update for senior sweetie Ernest! “Just wanted to share me and my family’s gratitude for Ernest! Cannot believe it’s been a year since we adopted him! We celebrated his birthday last night. Ernest has been such a blessing to our family. The biggest teddy bear but also the biggest protector of the family. We love our Ern Dog!”

Snuggly couch hippo Edith has gone home. Her new name is Blu.

Big brindle boy Barnaby was adopted in April after waiting for four months. “Barnaby says hello to all his friends there! He is doing great. He is learning his manners. Barnaby seems to have a lot of fans out there. We recently met the wonderful person that rescued him and there have been many times a stranger will ask “Is that Barnaby?” We love this big boy!”

Adoption update! Cutie pie Sara was adopted in the beginning of June and we just heard from her adopters: “Sara, now Penny, is so happy and doing so well in her new life. We are soooo in love with her!”

17-year-old charming gent Abdul was adopted today by one of our volunteers! Happiest of tales to the best boy.

Sammy was adopted by an experienced adopter to be a house cat.

Targaryen kittens Aemond & Rhaenys were adopted together. We love when that happens!

“I wanted to reach out and give an update – This is Banshee’s (formerly known as Rose) 1-year “gotcha” day anniversary. As soon as I saw her posted by SFACC, I knew I had to come in and meet her! Once I did I was immediately hooked and didn’t need to see any other kitties…also because if I had, I likely would’ve adopted them as well! She started out a skinny lanky little weirdo and has grown into a still lanky, still little, but less skinny weirdo. Here are some pics–from her first day exploring her new hallways, to lounging on her fancy cardboard couch and keeping watch from her cat tree. The last year has flown by and we look forward to many more together. Banshee says hello!”

Grandpa finally has a forever home! Lucky couple, lucky boy. His new family has fostered for Grandpa’s rescue organization and they are so excited to give him a home!

Wilbur found himself a big family, complete with canine sibling.

Adoption update for one of the Rugrat puppies! “This is Mack, formally known as Chuckie, with his older brother Cashew. He fits right end. We can’t even tell it’s only been a month, seems like they have been together forever. They are inseparable”

Barnaby was adopted and we already have an update: “Barnaby is doing great. He is starting to understand that we are his people and already seems pretty connected with Ozzie. He is eager to play, play, play with his new sister, Jett. We took him to get a bath today and he LOVED it! You were right, Barnaby needs some training but he is going to be a star. Our cats are not a fan of Barnaby yet but in time they most likely will be. Thank you for giving him so much love there, it really is evident.”

Update! Mary (fka Posey) was adopted last September as a puppy by one of SFPD’s officers, who she accompanies to the office: “Mary is ready for another night of petting therapy for Ingleside Station’s Swing and Midnight shift officers.” Such a good girl!
